The Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim division of the Shluchim Office is gearing up for the world’s only Lag B’Omer parade to be held entirely online.
Last years parade was attending by shluchim children and Hebrew schools who joined in live to watch!
CYH’s goal is to ensure that no child ever feels like he or she is missing out on anything by being on Shlichus, so far our online birthday farbrengens, birthday packages, hachanas, clubs and rallies have all helped ensure that children of shluchim never feel alone. “We are taking it to the next step now by giving the children a parade they will never forget!” organizers said.
Different families of Shluchim worldwide have signed up to create virtual floats for the parade. The Shluchim are investing a great deal of hard work and creativity into their floats – some are being drawn, others are being baked or built depending on what the family comes up with.
Last year the 5th and 6th Grades of the Shluchim Online School entertained us with their music, clowns and jugglers. This year we want EVERY shliach to be able to join. Shluchim have been sending in videos of their talents to see if they will be chosen to perform at the parade!
We are really excited for what is sure to be a memorable event, make sure YOU are a part of it!! TO find out more or to sign up to buid a float/ say a possuk email cyh@shluchim.org.
