Manchester Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneebalg was so impressed by a Chabad publication that he is calling on others to contribute.
It was the Kovetz Heoros Hatmimim Veanash, a 400 page compilation of chidushei Torah by the rabbonim and bochurim of the Yeshivas Lubavitch in Manchester which was sent to Rabbi Schneebalg, the revered rov of the Machzikei Hadass community, to which he responded with a warm public letter.
“My heart was full of joy upon seeing the kovetz chidushei Torah – Hearos Ubiurim,” he wrote in a letter dated Tammuz 13, encouraging those already participating and calling on all “lomdei Torah” to participate and write in as well.
Rabbi Schneebalg, who was a guest speaker of the Siyum Harambam in the Yeshiva last year, added that the sefer “strengthens and elevates the honor of the Torah.”
Published this past month, the sefer includes discussions and explanations in the areas of nigleh, chassidus, halacha and the Rebbe’s teachings.
It was compiled by the Talmidim Hashluchim Moti Rubin, Yisroel Gotlieb and Mendel Wilhelm.
