The Grade 5-7 girls’ class of Cheder Chabad of Philadelphia created a beautiful display depicting their yearlong study of ‘sheishes yemei bereishis’, through science and art.
Each unit of study contained a day of creation; it began with the Torah context and was followed by science lessons pertaining to that day.
With the help of their dedicated teacher Mrs. Odelia Bronstein, whose innovative style of teaching integrates many subjects and mediums into a holistic approach to lessons, the girls did research and experiments about the scientific concepts and concluded with an art project depicting what they had learned.
Their work was collected and put together into a beautiful display for all classes in the school as well as parents, family and friends.
