With a whopping 8,000 videos to choose from, Jewish.TV was due for a new design.
Fifteen years since its first video webcast in 1997, Chabad.org has the largest, most diverse Jewish video site on the web. With 8,000 to choose from, the Chabad.org video site, known as Jewish.TV, has grown from humble beginnings into one of the most popular departments on Chabad.org.
The growth and diversity of content, necessitated an overhaul of the Jewish.TV design and infrastructure.
“There are 8,000 videos plus over 12,000 audio files,” explains Rabbi Shmuel Lifshitz, the Programming Director of Jewish.TV. “The new design streamlines the user experience for navigating such a massive amount of content.”
Users of the world’s biggest Jewish video site will also appreciate new features such as larger video players, faster loading pages, and an improved algorithm for suggesting related videos.

Staggeringly amazing in a culturally astounding degree. Well done to Chabad.org for making this monumental task seem so effortlessly elegant. Well done!
Its hard to find new videos added to the library. No one wants to search every category to see if you uploaded a new video.

Truly extraordinary. In keeping with the foresight of the Chabad.org founder, rabbi Kazan obm.
One question, what’s the difference between Jewish.tv and torahcafe.com? It seems we have two competing video site?
video very well done
that is unreal! then again, they were they very first to do anything like this, so it makes sense they would have so many videos. still, it is pretty impressive. personally, i have spent hours watching videos there. the sheer variety is staggering!
