In honor of Yud Tes Kislev, Chabad of the North Shore, Sydney held a dinner catered by Shmulik Fogelman of Massachusetts.
The event’s guest speaker from Melbourne, Rabbi Loer Broh, spoke on the topic of “Thought power and how to manifest it into our daily lives.”
“We were expecting 25 to 30 people” said one of the organizers. However when the event started, over 50 people came through the doors, and sat through the entire Farbrengen. The dinner was complemented with live music played by Lavi Klein from Johannesburg, S.A.
The first Tanya ever printed on the North Shore was also presented to the public at this event. The fortunate community members had a chance to purchase one of these special “Ives” edition Tanyas.
These Tanyas were immediately used by all, as Rabbi Nochum Schapiro led the community in learning perek Yud aleph.
A special thank you to the Bochurim- Shluchim, Shmulik Fogelman, Lavi Klein, Ari Kapeluschnik and Mayer Goldman for organizing this event and making it the success it was.
