Rabbi Boaz and Fradi Klein, who run the southernmost Chabad House located in the city of Bariloche, Argentina, have begun a new tourist season with serving visiting Jews.
And they have already accomplished a lot.
Hundreds of Jewish backpackers – mostly Israeli – are flocking to their center not far from the city’s main square every day for prayers, classes, and kosher meals.
“We attend to their material and spiritual needs,” reported the Chabad couple, and were proud to announce that they already held no less than 6 Bar Mitzvahs for Jews who never put on Tefilin.
In addition, a Bris Milah was conducted on a farm in small village hundreds of kilometers away.
No local shliach in Launceston
