London Yeshiva Holds Siyum

Yeshiva Gedolah of London, under the auspices of Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Hertz, hosted the Annual Siyum Hamesechta on Sunday night, the 7th of Av.

After many months of devoted and diligent learning, the Bochurim were tested on Mesechta Pesachim, some of whom completed the Mesechta together with Tos’ baal pe.

The Siyum, marking the completion of Mesechta Pesachim, was attended by many prominent Rabbonim including Rabbi Elchonon Dov Halprin, Morah Deosra of North West London, who gave Divrei Brocho to the Yeshiva and to the Roshei Yeshiva, his son Reb Dovid Halprin Dayan of London, who tested the Bochurim prior to the Siyum, guest speaker Harav Hagoen Rabbi Schneibalg, the Rov of Machzikei Hadas Edgware, Rabbi Nachman Sudak, head Shliach to England, Dayan Raskin from Stamford Hill and Rabbi Shmuel Lew.

The Anash of London showed strong support by their vast attendants from the various communities throughout London.

The Siyum itself was delivered by Hatomim Dovid Lew, grandson of Rabbi Shmuel Lew, on behalf of all the Bochurim, which he included a Hadren from the Rebbe.

The Chairman of the evening’s event, Rabbi Mendel Gordon, the head Mashpia of the Yeshiva, concluded with a heartfelt prayer that this should be the final Siyum in Golus.
