In honor of Chof Menachem Av, Rabbi Levi and Chayale Groner were appointed as the new Chabad Shluchim in Pelham, an affluent suburban town in Westchester County, New York.
Referred to as “the first suburb north of New York City,” Pelham currently contains two independently incorporated villages: the Village of Pelham and Pelham Manor and is home to many New York City commuters.
The Groners with their daughter Daicha Rochel will bring the joy of Yiddishkeit to the communities of Pelham and Pelham Manor through Shabbos and holiday programs, Torah classes and youth programming.
The new Shluchim were appointed by Rabbi Velvl Butman, Head Shliach of Westchester County. The shluchim thank Rabbi Butman for his help and guidance.
The Groners can be contacted via email chabadpelham@gmail.com (contributions can be made via paypal to chabadpelham@gmail.com).
