Reb Chazkel and his wife Frieda OH were the most caring and generous people. When we arrived as refugees from France we stayed in their house for quite a while. Not only were we treated well, but Chazkel took us younger children out to zoos and other places were children like going.Frieda was the greates baale bosta and cook. She always had cookies or cakes in the house in case anyone should drop by.
They hosted many many people.
