Congregation Bnei Ruven in Chicago attracted thousands of people to its annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva making it the biggest Sukkot event in the midwest region.
What started as a rainy morning miraculously cleared up and gave way to a full day of kids’ entertainment including rides, a huge petting zoo, pony rides, and performances by the Jesse White Tumblers and the fantastic ‘Circus Boy.’
The day was topped off with “Dancing in the Streets” with guest entertainer Ohad Moskowitz, who came directly from Israel.
State Senator Ira Silverstein, Alderman Debra Silverstein and Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White were welcomed by Rabbi Baruch Hertz, spiritual leader of Bnei Ruven.
During intermission, over a thousand people watched a video of the Rebbe on a huge mounted screen.

I have fondest memories of Simchas Beis Hashuaiva in Chicago, top singers, true Achdus as all parts of the community join together…Kol Hakavod to Rabbi Hertz and the entire staff of Bnei Ruven for this and all the wonderful things you do for the entire Chicago Jewish community
chicago rocks the world 🙂

I was there and it was amazing!!!
best concert ever!
This all started over 20 years ago when Elchanon Ebert made simchas beis Hashoeva by blocking off the street on Richmond Ave and blasting music from a boom box,
Rabbi Hertz has done an admirable job in taking over but lets give credit where credit is due.
