Credit must be given where credit is due. It was recounted that Rabbi Bryski escaped from Poland to Lithuania with a group of Lubavitcher bochurim, where they obtained visas to Japan from the Japanese consul, Sugihara. The Mirrer Yeshiva was the main contingent traveling to Japan, and other smaller groups – such as R’ Bryski and the Lubavitcher bochurim – benefitted from this miraculous escape by joining this… Read more »

This talk was given by Rabbi Moshe Bryski at the Lay Leadership Conference, part of the International Conference of Shluchim, of this year a short six weeks before the passing of my dear Zeidy.

I was moved by Rabbi Bryski’s speech but i found myself actually crying while listening to his father singing this niggun. I would love if this niggun could be put on a CD (single) so that I can listen to it while driving or at home and for my children to listen to it as well. It gives me alot of Chizuk! Thank you.

Keep the torch burning

A moving speech. Clearly hashem had greater plans for this special tzaddik. Beautiful niggun, how important it is to record niggunim from the old generations. It seems like the holy flames of the past are slowly getting extinguished
