Shluchim Kids Gather at Banquet

The annual Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchos, a weekend camp for girls who are living on Shlichus in locations around the world, culminated Sunday evening with a grand banquet at Bais Rivkah Campus Chomesh in Crown Heights.

As groups of young shluchos arrived from various trips, they were greeted by a beautifully set up banquet, mimicking a parallel one held for their mothers at the New York State Armory in Brooklyn.

The 650 girls sang and farbrenged together, waved while their country was called in roll call, and danced with much joy while performer Chanale Fellig sang with them.

Ending off the banquet, the hundreds of girls sang together a resounding “From 770 we’re marching out” that will surely last the girls all through the year.

Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchos, co-sponosored by Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch and Kinus Hashluchos chaired by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, was an astounding success.

The organizers, Rabbi Gedalya Shemtov and Rabbi Moshe Pinson of The Shluchim Office thanked “the wonderful staff for their unbelievable dedication and devotion to this year’s kinus. We appreciate all their hard work and effort.”
