Thank you to my parents, grandparents, and Yoni for such a great party. Thank you to all the support I have gotten all along from all those around me. Thank you for all the positive feedback from everyone. I am humbled.

Ur fabelous…..im not a big mavin in music…. but i defently can apreciate a good talanted singer…. as ur .im sure its a great feelling to be the winner….. but its also a big honor to be one of 3 finalists . U should be proud of urself ur parents.teachers and specially.,,.grand. parents:shlome and chaya that i love and respect from a family friend.

Mendel Mendel Mendel, If I only possessed your true understanding in musical nuances and had half your natural talent, I`d be super lucky. Your UNITY performance was flawless! Win or no win it truly doesn`t matter. You exemplified your sportsmanship to the public along with your sweet voice. What the public does NOT know is you conduct back stage and in the performers room. So balanced, calm, composed, all smiles, confident and most importantly sociable, to your fellow contestants and everyone else. Mendel, your Zeidi Piekarski is a true “Jewish Star” and someone you should try your best to emulate. Chazak V’emotz!
Pikarski definitely a class act, and excellent singer, which is secondary.
perhaps next time to invite the other young jewish star nominees and thereby increase achdus yisroel among the different communities represented by the different stars. just remember, when the sun shines, you don’t see no stars, kee shemesh u’mogen Hashem Elokim.
Mendel you make my heart melt every time I listen to your songs! You sing with such sincereness, strength and style. You are definitely on the road to big bright successful future. Keep up the hard word!

To tell the truth – I could care less who won Jewish star – its all a matter of opinion albeit “professional” opinion. What impressed me most was – when it was announced that Pikarski didn’t win – he took it like such a man – with what appeared to be such a genuine smile and happiness for the winner. And that’s a star in my opinion. He can sing great too. But in order try and win – u must be willing to lose…
next time he will win but in my book he has already won having such a warm and loving family!!!!
