Four months since being flooded by Superstorm Sandy, FREE of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn was once again under the sea but this time with a positive twist.
A crowd of nearly 300 gathered to celebrate “Purim Under the Sea” with FREE of Brighton Beach in grand style.
Sailors, sea captains, pirates and fish creatures all joined to hear the Megillah being read with a special multimedia presentation for the children.
Adults then feasted on a sushi and fish buffet while the children enjoyed an entertaining bubble show. Music and dancing ended the fun-filled evening.
