Anash in London, England experienced a very uplifting and inspiring weekend with Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, Mashpia and lecturer from Crown Heights.
On Thursday and Friday, Rabbi Paltiel addressed the boys and girls at the Lubavitch Schools in Stamford Hill and also led a very inspiring Farbrengen at the Yeshiva Gedola with Rabbi YM Hertz and Rabbi MM Gordon, as reported on COLlive.
Friday night Anash gathered at the home of the Rutman family to hear a Farbrengen about Simcha, in tune with the two months of Adar we find ourselves in.
On Shabbos day, the community of Heichal Menachem in Golders Green experienced a full program from Tehillim at 8.30am, all the way through to Motzei Shabbos at 6.45pm. After warming up the crowd before Krias Hatorah, Rabbi Paltiel started the Farbrengen at 12.45pm and it did not end until 5.30 in time for mincha. Chassidic stories, inspirational points and emotional memories were all packed into this 5 1/2 hour farbrengen which was well attended by Anash from all over town and many bochurim from Mechina and the Yeshiva Gedola.
After Mincha at the Seder Niggunim led by Rabbi Shmuel Zajac, Rabbi Paltiel chazered a Maamar, which brought to a close a Shabbos that will be forever be engraved in the history of Heichal Menachem.
Motzei Shabbos, Rabbi Paltiel addressed a crowd of Anash in Stamford Hill, at a Chanukas Habayis led by the Rov, Dayan Levi Raskin.
At a well attended Yom Limmud on Sunday, Rabbi Paltiel first gave deep insight into the spiritual develpment of Kabbala and Chassidus philosophy, and after Shachris gave a short history class on the develpment of Kabbala into Chassidus, before a Parsha Class on Vayikra.
Rabbi Paltiel followed on to the Mechina, where the bochurim who had already enjoyed two Farbengens with him had a last chance to receive some more inspiration, and on Sunday night Rabbi Paltiel brought his tour to a close at an address to over 100 women from across London at the Croft Court Hotel in Golders Green.
I know people that were by the farbrengens, I wish I could have walked to heichal menachem on shabbos.
