Something that should be stressed in this halacha
December 12, 2013 1:54 am

It is important to stress (did not hear in the shiur) but clearly stated in the same sif Dini sheala uschiras vichasima 21:” one may leave their job in the middle of the contract if it does not cause any loss to the owner..”
One must give ample amount of time to allow the owner to find a proper replacement, everything is judged by the minhag of the place.
For more details see Imrei Yakov on Shulchan Aruch HaRav.

Don't work to hard

He is right,I use to work as a mashgiach by another Lubavitcher ,in a restaurant,and I ended up as a slave.
I was expected to the job of 4 workers,I had no time to eat drink or go to the bathroom

Why I should work hard

* working hard engenders responsibility
* it lifts team-work morale within the work environment
* fulfills a sense of purpose of HaShem’s given talents
* reinforces ‘Yogatti uMatzasie’
