Shortly after the hustle and bustle of Tishrei, 250 Crown Heights high school girls gathered for their annual Friendship Circle volunteer training and kickoff at the Jewish Children’s Museum.
Girls from local high schools Bais Rivkah and Bnos Menachem were served light refreshments and had a chance to “meet and greet” fellow volunteers from other schools in the community.
Two workshops were set up, new volunteers by Mrs. Libby Klein, MSED, and returning volunteers by Mrs. Eidel Sputz, SLP, CCC. Followed by a general session.
A special thank you to Mushky Gurevitch, Friendship Circle volunteer coordinator, and our very dedicated shool presidents.
