“I am in tears from many of the lectures and the depth of the material touched us. I have made a good resolution to take on more Mitzvos. We plan to go back and share what we have learned here and to very strongly encourage our friends to come to our Rosh Chodesh gathering.”
These words are attributed to Mrs. Rochelle Koolish of Chicago, Illinois, but they were said in one way or another by most of the participants of the 4-day lay leadership conference, held alongside the Kinus Hashluchos.
As their Shluchos and mentors convene in Crown Heights, the women involved with Chabad have the opportunity to be inspired as well at a parallel program of their own where they are treated to five star ‘dining’ for the body and soul.
Coordinators of the guest program are Mrs. Rivkah Kotlarsky, Mrs. Molly Resnick, Mrs. Tamar Pewzner, Mrs. Chaya Diamond and Mrs. Sara Chana Posner.
“The overwhelmingly spiritual workshops touched and enriched my neshama,” said Mrs. Mandy Mendelsohn, a resident of Wesley Chapel, FL, who arrived with Shlucha Mrs. Chany Yarmush. “We received lots of tools to bring back and share with our community.”
Mrs. Rosita Klar-Blau from S. Paulo, Brazil, agreed. “I felt like I was going to become a better person,” she said. “I can no longer remain the same…”
A slew of speakers came to inspire, educate and enlighten the guests, that came from places like Australia, Europe, South America and the U.S.
Among them were Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Mrs. Nechama Dina Kantor, Rabbi Aaron Gancz, Mrs. Rivky Slonim, Mrs. Shimona Tzukernik, Mrs. Chana Weisberg, Mrs. Devorah Alevsky, Mrs. Bluma Weinberg, Mrs. Chaya Teldon, Mrs. Chana Leah Nunez, Rabbi Efraim Mintz, Mrs. Chana Silberstein, Rabbi Yosef Y. Shusterman and Rabbi YY Jacobson.
“I felt the lecturers speaking directly to my heart and my challenges of the moment and revealing to me the many blessings I am already receiving every day from G-d in huge measure,” said Mrs. Penina Levy of Evanston, Illinois, who arrived with Shlucha Mrs. Chaya Klein.
And Julia Wolokova, Board Member of Jewish Students of Austria, summed it up in these words: “The most powerful women’s event that I have ever attended in my life.”
The guest program exceeded my expectations! The speakers the food… Everything was thoughtfully planned. I was thoroughly inspired & will be applying some of this inspiration into my day to day life. Thanks to Rebbezin Chayah Kaye I was able to attend this years program. Also, thank you Molly for being so well organised!
Standing ovations to Reb Beryl Epstein, our Shliach here in Crown Heights. His continuous, contagious winning smile and kind words are the spiritual vitamins he injects into all those he meets. May he continue to make the Aibeshters’ brios so happy. Brochos in abundance to him and his family.
Looks wonderful
Thank you it was a wonderful program
Go Turk Caterers!
The guest program is always very nice. The speakers are first rate adn the food is incredible. You get to meet so many interesting people. But what about those women who need more than that? Who help their shluchos putting on events and helping out with Chabad houses? The true lay people who need workshops of their own that truly parrallel the shluchos program?
Best substitute 🙂
