Chabad at the Beaches in Ponte Vedra, FL recently held a Bris-Milah a day after Yom Kippur, 11 Tishrei 5772- Oct. 9 2011.
The baby boy was born to Shluchim Rabbi Eli and Esther Wilansky, Program Directors at the Chabad Jewish Center under Rabbi Nochum and Leah Kurinsky.
A crowd of almost 90 people, plus the Shluchim of nearby Jacksonville, FL were in attendance. The baby was named Shmuel Avigdor after his great-grandfather, Shmuel Avigdor Kurinsky OB”M.
Rabbi Yosef Kahanov, head Shliach in Jacksonville, Florida recited Birchas Kohanim, and Montreal Shliach Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Wilansky, the grandfather of the baby, was honored as Sandek.
The Mohel was Rabbi Moshe Barrocas of Pittsburgh, PA.
