More than 250 communities across six continents will tune in this Sunday to the fourth broadcast of JLI’s Unity Lecture Series. Many additional communities, who cannot join simultaneously due to the time, will present a screening of the program before Rosh HaShana.
The pre-Rosh HaShana program will feature Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski who will speak on Teshuva and Unity.
Rabbi Twerski, a well known American Rabbi and award-winning psychiatrist specializing in substance-abuse, founded the Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Pittsburgh and the Shaar Tikvah Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem. He is the author of more than 60 books on Torah and self-help topics.
The four Unity Lectures were organized to commemorate Shnas Hakhel by Torah Caf?, the online division of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute, the adult-education arm of Merkos. The project was launched by Vaad HaKinus at this past Kinus Hashluchim.
The music video “It Happened Yom Kippur,” by Chabad vocalist Mayer Rivkin of Infinity Productions, will be presented during the musical segment of the webcast.
“It is an honor for us to have been chosen to participate, through our music video production, in this significant and historical event that unites Jews from all walks of life and from all corners of the world,” said Rivkin.
You can watch the live broadcast at any one of the hundreds of locations see UnityLecture.com
