The Tzeirei Hashluchim camp run by the Shluchim Office and sponsored by Markas L’Inyonei Chinuch opened on Thursday.
Over 200 kids participated in a trip to Chelsea Piers in Manhattan for a private ice-skating session. For many of the kids, it was their first time ice skating, and they had a great time skating to chasidishe niggunim with other Tzeirei Hashluchim from all over the world.
The day concluded back in Crown Heights, where they learned a portion of the Rebbe’s address to all Shluchim, from Parshas Chaya Sara 5752, followed by farbrengens with their counselors.
The full camp program will continue through the weekend where over 470 children are signed up to participate.
