Two Lubavitch girls have been announced as finalists in Yaldah Magazine’s ‘Design a T-shirt’ contest.
Menucha Shaffier, age 9, of Tekoa, Israel designed a beautiful heart with ‘Yaldah’ written in the center.
Shoshana Moskovitz, age 13, a shlucha to Ukraine, taught herself how to use Corel Draw, and created a digital t-shirt design.
The contest gave girls the freedom to design whatever they wanted, as long as it had the word ‘Yaldah’ in it. Their designs have been chosen as two of four finalists in the contest.
Public voting will determine which design will win the grand prize and make it onto a Yaldah t-shirt to be sold online.
Plus, the grand prize winner will walk away with a $100 gift certificate to Old Navy. Voting ends on July 8th.
