Last week students of Meorot Chabad spent a week volunteering at the Tze’eilim base in the south of Israel. After settling in and getting changed into uniforms, they had the opportunity to “live the life” of a non-combat IDF soldier.
A day’s work included waking up early for Shacharis and working in the many different warehouses on the base, as well as eating and sleeping alongside the soldiers.
One evening all the Rabbis from their school came to visit the students to see their accomplishments on the base.
On Tuesday night, the students were given a tour of the mobile artillery units.
At the end of the exhausting week, the soldiers thanked everyone for their hard work.
