A Shloshim memorial ceremony will mark 30 days since the passing of Chaya Mushka Itkin OBM, the 3 year-old daughter of Chabad Shluchim in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The event will take place Thursday, 28 Teves – January 14 at Bais Rivkah, 470 Lefferts Ave in Brooklyn, beginning 8:30 p.m.
Her tragic illness has led to a good deed drive on Facebook with many family members, friends and strangers promising to do a Mitzvah in her honor.
At the event a special presentation honoring Chaya Mushka’s life will be screened.
Rabbi Yossi Jacobson, acclaimed lecturer and rabbi of Congregation Bais Shmuel in Crown Heights, will be the guest speaker.
The event is for women and girls.
An event for men will be held at 8:30 pm at 770 Eastern Parkway.
