Hundreds from the Monsey community came out to celebrate the completion of the Monsey Community Sefer Torah on Sunday.
The Siyum took place at the home of Itche Noach Zeiler, with the final words written by sofer R’ Shimon Zonnenfeld of Nachlas Har Chabad, Israel, who flew in for the occasion.
The sefer Torah was dedicated by all the members of the Tzemach Tzedek Shul in Monsey, under the leadership of Rabbi Baruch Leshes, it was dedicated in honor of the Rebbe.
The Siyum was followed by a procession through the streets of Monsey, and hakafos at the Tzemach Tzedek Shul.
Dinner and a farbrengen followed, with guest speaker Rabbi Binyomin Klein.
