When you see someone who is not living according to the Torah and Mitzvos… Make HIM “YOUR” neighbor, not that YOU become HIS neighbor… In other words, YOU influence him and not GET influenced by him. Deep lesson.
I think that is the feeling the Rebbe wants us to have for another yid.
Besides elevating her neshoma, that was the message of the sicha.
If this applies to someone we meet in the street,
how much more so does it apply to our approach to our own wavering children.
