Mayor of Montreal Gérald Tremblay hosted a Menorah lighting in what is becoming an annual tradition in city hall.
The Chanukah event, organized by the local Tzach: Lubavitch Youth Organization, was held Wednesday, Kislev 29.
Rabbis and members of the Jewish community, including many children, participated and received Chanukah treats.
Chanukah songs were sung by the Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch boys choir.
The mayor thanked Rabbi Berel Mochkin and Rabbi Dovid Cohen of Tzach for their effors.
