Rabbi Ezra Schochet, Rosh Yeshiva Ohr Elchanon–Chabad in Los Angeles, delivered a riveting lecture this Saturday night at Chabad of the Valley in Tarzana, CA.
He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Torah scholars of our generation and has educated thousands of students all over the world, many of whom have gone on to become rabbis, teachers and leaders in their communities.
The talk by Schochet — also known as simply “The Rosh” — was entitled Teshuva: Repentance in the Spirit of Joy and was attended by hundreds of eager listeners.
Many more watched it the following day on the chabad.org video site Jewish.TV which carries a variety of exciting new lectures and classes.
Other Rosh Hashana talks and classes on Jewish.TV include Facing the Challenges of Today’s Youth by Rabbi Chai Amar, Why a Shofar (and Not a Violin?) by Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, and a 6-part series on teshuvah by Rabbi Shais Taub.
