Residential property owner Yossi Popack paused for a moment from his busy schedule to tour the recently completed B’nos Menachem preschool building in Crown Heights.
The premises at 723 East New York Avenue was renovated through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Popack, who sponsored the building materials and costs.
He was accompanied by the school’s Director Rabbi Motty Gurary.
The building was specially outfitted with the needs of the children taking top priority, with size-appropriate fixtures and furnishings.
The many shades of pink decor are inviting and match the warmth and excitement the children enjoy every day in their “own” building.
The adjacent playground complements their daily activities-allowing them fresh air and space in a secured, comfortable area.
“None of this could have been possible without the kindness and support of the Popack family,” Gurary said. “It is a true example of Chesed that is touching so many lives and being thoroughly appreciated by so many students.”
MY kids are the best so MY kids deserve the best!!!
My ___ is holier than your ___ , therefore,
I am holier than you, and
My ___ deserves to get more donations than your ___.
Are your children holier than my children? It is exactly this attitude that prevents us from achieving the Rebbe’s dream. It is exactly this attitude that holds up the coming of Moshiach.
When will Moshiach come? When we stop thinking in terms of:
“My (fill in the blank) is holier than your (fill in the blank)”
Thank u to M.Gourarie, Popack family, Morah Raizel and the most wonderful, warm, loving, talented teachers for THE MOST OUTSTANDING PRESCHOOL EVER! We are proud and honoured to be part of it.THANK YOU!
Kudos to both Gourarie and Popack for their leadership.
every mosed has chabad kids, are children of the rebbe, regardsless where it is.
we are all the Rebbes’s children, keep the nasty remarks to yourself and GROW UP!
p.s. competition is a wonderful thing. look how much bais rivka is trying to improve.
why dont you recognize a good deed when its done. yashor koach to popack and everyone who gives tzedakah to all lubavitcher mosdos.
To all you who keep saying bais rivkah is the Rebbe’s School- no one is denying that – but stop being so jealous!!!
with all due repect to Mr Popack, he may as well give money to bais Yakov in BP, the only girls school in crown heights that is the rebbes school is BAIS RIVKA, moti gurari opened himself a privat school for various reasons, but lets not confuse the facts, BAIS RIVKA is in greater need of money and anything else is just a publicity stunt.
THE GREATEST AND MOST HONEST MAN I EVER MET!!
GIVE YOUR MONEY TO BAIS RIVKAH! Its the REBBE’s SCHOOL!!!!
…Has an amazing personality.
A fan in NJ.

if you have nothi g posotive to say then don’t! do you want to be scrutinised like that on your job??
Amazing how the Popacks became such big givers (do you know if they give any Moisdos that existed before Gimmil Tamuz?
it’s actually not so “silly” any professional school will tell you, kids are not expected to pick their heads up; would you hang your paintings at home on your ceiling and tell everyone to look up to see them? of course not! it has to be at eye level! Also, if it’s something the kids shouldn’t touch- laminate it or don’t put things in a preschool that aren’t kid friendly- is it about what the kids are getting or impressing the adults? and by the way, i don’t think #5 was saying it’s not a good school in any way,… Read more »
Adoereable kids!! It’s nice to see them having such a good time in the New building!! They are really cute girls!
silly the kids can pic their heads up… and its obviously like that so that the kids wont touch the bulletin boards.
If you look closely you will see cubbies underneath the bulletin board so it’s an added bulletin for decorating the HALLWAY as you walk into the classroom! Of course the rest of the bulletins are on the kids eye level!
That bulletin board- is it for the kids in the class or just for show for adults who come to visit… if it’s for the kids, shouldn’t it be on their eye level, not an adult’s?
go motty you do an outstanding job
