New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine attended a Menorah lighting in New Jersey’s state capital, Trenton. The event was a salute to Chabad, and included all New Jersey shluchim.
Governor Corzine spoke about his appreciation for Chabad’s work, and related that he has visited Israel in the past.
The Menorah lighting ceremony, which took place in front of the State Capitol building, was lit by Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg, father of Rabbi Gavriel, HY”D, who was murdered in Mumbai.
At the event were also Chabad supporters and community activists.
