So sad for us and yet inspiring to read Rishe’s words. We do not understand Hashem’s ways but must try to our best to live as He instructs us. What a powerful example Nosson provides for all of us.

We are overwhelmed by the incredible amount of people that Nosson touched in his brief stay in this world. Countless stories are being told by his friends, parents of children and relatives EVERYONE is touched by this unfathomable tragedy. Those who never met him are deeply touched by all the comments on the internet and incidents related at the house of Shiva. Nosson has become Larger than LIFE. He will forever be an inspiration for us all, young and old. I was very deeply impressed by a comment from one of the campers in his charge: Nosson always told them… Read more »

קבלתי מכתב מאחד בו הוא כותב שאמנם אין חסידים עורכים הספדים, אבל מספרים סיפורים אודותיו, וזהו ההספד.
Someone recently wrote me that though chassidim do not deliver eulogies, one does tell stories about the departed — and that is their eulogy.

We won't let the Tanya stop just because Nosson can't say it...

I was thinking what could I take in in memory of Nosson, and realized I’d honestly been slacking in Tanya…then I read how he had memorized the entire Tanya…I am just in pure awe of such a bochur. What a credit to his mother, father z”tl and entire family. Thank you, Rishie, for posting.

Just do it

I didn’t know him, but he was obviously a VERY special person. I am sure his Neshama is in Gan Eden together with all the other tzadikim and he is begging Hashem to bring Moshiach!

after reading all these stories about his life, i constantly think throughout the day- “how can i be even a little bit like nosson…what would he do in such a situation…” and the like, and i’m trying to be more bsimcha too. i hope moshiach comes now, because we can’t take it any longer!
