Bugaboo North America, a company based in California, has voluntarily recalled 22,500 Bugaboo Bee strollers after receiving 121 reports of brakes failing, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
The popular strollers were sold at juvenile product stores nationwide, and online, between August 2007 and April 2009 for about $530.
One or both sides of the brakes could fail, causing the stroller to roll away on an incline, the CPSC said. No injuries have been reported.
The affected models have the item code 580210 on the label on the seat back, and the code 50100 on the label on the plastic support under the seat. “Bugaboo Bee” is printed on the left side of the seat.
The CPSC said Consumers should stop using the strollers and contact Bugaboo to get a free repair kit and bracket.

Are you guys resenting the fact you can’t afford a bugaboo??? Live and let live
My bugaboo works just fine!!! ;)))
Everybody makes their own decisions on how to spend their money. We do not live in a wealthy community and everybody wants to live a good life.
Let them enjoy what they can.
i agree totally with no. 9 everyone should spend their money how they want
I agree with #12. I’ve never been in a section-8 building, but I see so many bugaboos in the park nowadays & some of the owners, I specifically know, live in cheap buildings/section-8. I can’t afford a bugaboo because I own a home & pay almost full tuition for 3 kids 🙁
People spend more on a stroller than on a year’s rent. Go into a section-8 building and the lobby looks like a Bugaboo showroom..
Well, in England they cost minimum 600 pounds, so i cant imagine it costs less than 800, 900 dollars in New York
530 isn’t 150!
the need to criticize?? does it bother you that for some pple this is important??? everyone has different things they spend money on…. why is it something to comment on? worry about your own finances
the bee cost $530
even if you spend $100 on your graco stroller, you still get a guarantee…and a stroller that WORKS!
well they caust 1000
You get your gurantee!
can you read

by the time ur kids grow out of these strollers, they don’t give a damn thought about how expensive it was
this is what happens when ppl waste their $ on $1,000 strollers
