A crowd of over 500 participated in a very moving Menorah lighting ceremony on the first night of Chanukah, in the center of Hong Kong. The event, organized by Shliach Mordechai Avtzon, was dedicated in the memory of the Shluchim Rabbi Gabi and Rivka HoltzbergHY”D.
The event included a carnival where kids could enter a report of an act of kindness they performed for a prize.
The General Consul of Israel to Hong Kong, and friend of Chabad Mr. Amikam Levy, was honored with lighting the giant Menorah.
It was a very inspiring and moving event, for many in the crowd it was their first time seeing a Menorah lighting.
